There's one minor thing still on my list:For the camonitor commandline tool, the output buffer size was set to a non-zero value in 3.14.7 - for reasons I don't remember.
While I don't see any effects on Linux, a colleague told me that on Win32 starting with 3.14.7 he has to ^C the camonitor call the see the last lines of output. Which sounds as if the buffer size zero was intended to do an implicit flush at each char instead of the end of each output line.
I don't have a Win system here to test - could someone please check this and insert a flush call that works on both Win and Linux, so that every line is appearing at the command line interface when it is printed?
I'm awfully busy tonight and off tomorrow, so I can't really take care of that issue myself - sorry!!!
Cheers, Ralph Andrew Johnson wrote:
Does anyone have any changes for R3.14.9 that they haven't committed yet? I would like to tag the -RC1 release tomorrow, but my rules imply that there's no point doing that if someone has any patches to commit.I have a minor IOC shutdown issue on Linux that I should have pushed harder with earlier, but the solution would affect many source files and we don't have time to discuss the fix now so I'll document it on the Known Problems page and leave the resolution until later.I am also still in the process of running the mrkSoftTest suite.Jeff - are all your fixes committed now? I don't want to go ahead with the -RC1 tag until I get a positive response from you.- Andrew
