Jeff, I afraid your definition // alarm // major // upper // lower // minor // upper // lowerwill be misleading users to the interpretation that it defines a range for major and minor severity with a lower and upper limit each. I think the inverted hierarchy (as shown on the Wiki page)
// alarm // lower // minor // major // upper // minor // majormaps better to the common use and understanding ("there's a set of lower limits") and is clear without ambiguity.
