Hi Ralph, I am trying to test this. Something seems wrong with the distribution, there is no “configure” file in the top-level directory. This is what I see in the top-level directory when I do a “git clone”. [root@corvette procServ]# ls -l total 268 -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 54 Jan 12 15:54 AUTHORS -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 35147 Jan 12 15:54 COPYING -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 6697 Jan 12 15:54 ChangeLog -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9512 Jan 12 15:54 INSTALL -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 826 Jan 12 15:54 Makefile.Epics.in -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1159 Jan 12 15:54 Makefile.am -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 39 Jan 12 15:54 NEWS -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4986 Jan 12 15:54 README.md -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 10209 Jan 12 15:54 acceptFactory.cc -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 123 Jan 12 15:54 appveyor.yml -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9890 Jan 12 15:54 clientFactory.cc -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5648 Jan 12 15:54 configure.ac -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 718 Jan 12 15:54 connectionItem.cc drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 89 Jan 12 15:54 debian -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1182 Jan 12 15:54 forkpty.c -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 40553 Jan 12 15:54 libtelnet.c -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 20806 Jan 12 15:54 libtelnet.h -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 497 Jan 12 15:54 makefile -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 32020 Jan 12 15:54 procServ.cc -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4379 Jan 12 15:54 procServ.h -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2133 Jan 12 15:54 procServ.spec -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 13452 Jan 12 15:54 procServ.txt -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1176 Jan 12 15:54 processClass.h -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 9940 Jan 12 15:54 processFactory.cc Mark From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]
On Behalf Of Ralph Lange Dear core-talkers, I have uploaded the first release candidate for the upcoming release 2.7.0 of procServ to the usual places. The most prominent features are:
·
Allow UNIX domain sockets and TCP sockets bound to a specific IP:port. (thanks to Michael Davidsaver)
·
Add -P option allowing multiple endpoints. (thanks to Michael Davidsaver)
·
Fix client logout by command not working after a child restart.
·
Full release notes are available on the GitHub release page. I need your support in testing this release candidate, especially with respect to the changed and new features, especially on systems that I do not have available for testing (Solaris, BSD, MacOS). Thanks to all contributors! Cheers, |
