No, that's additional cl output from running the command above that prints the version.

The last line of output is usually

toolchain.c

The compiler prints the file name whenever it compiles a file.

This is ci-scripts. Setting VV=1 is turning up verbosity. No Make magic needed.
Note that also recent EPICS builds (like the one at https://ci.appveyor.com/project/epics-base-7/epics-base/builds/51280022) obviously get stuck at that point for long enough that the 1hr timeout hits them at some point late in the compilation. They have VV=1 (as Base is their main project, not a dependency).
