So there is a requirement for support of 'hard' record on a Unix box as well?
At Gemini we are principally looking at a CA server front end for a dynamic
collection of purely 'soft' records with the physical database being [TBD]
something commercial like SyBase.
I suspect that a CA server for 'soft' records only is an easier task.
