Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Folks,
This is probably a stupid question, but ...
I have downloaded the latest statically linked "medm" (2.2.5) for Sun 4
from the EPICS software distribution to my Sun 4 system.
When I try to run it, I get the following error:
cars1> medmSun2.2.5
ld.so: libXm.so.1: not found
It is complaining that it can't find libXm.so.1. My X11 libraries are in
/usr/local/X/lib, which is part of LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
cars1> echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH
/ansys51/SC2.0.1:/usr/local/X/lib:/usr/openwin/lib
cars1> ls -lL /usr/local/X/lib/libXm.so*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sys 1720320 Nov 27 1994 /usr/local/X/lib/libXm.so
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sys 1720320 Nov 27 1994 /usr/local/X/lib/libXm.so.2.13
I thus have a more recent version of the libXm.so. Any ideas what is wrong
here? I really need to get the latest version of medm running on sun4, since
all of the .adl files I have created on Solaris and Alpha come up black on
sun4, since the color map stuff was changed.
Thanks.
