I am trying to obtain some information on an Channel Access Server
problem currently being experienced at a new EPICS site. The NT Client
application is based on the EPICS 3.12 library - when started, the
appropriate Win-SOC window open along with the caRepeater and application
windows. The EPICS CA Diagnostics display illustrates connection to
sockets and communications can exist successfully for several minutes. At
the end of 10-15 minutes, the diagnostics window displays a message
pertaining to the Server not able to allocate additional memory for
channels. Is this a sign of a Client issue or Server issue ? Anyone
experience this before ? and what checks can be done on CLient or Server
side (Client NT, Server UNIX) to find the root cause of the problem ? Any
information is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.
Mike
