Subject: Re: vxWorks, other ops From: "Bob Dalesio" <[email protected]> To: Rolf Keitel <[email protected]> Date: Sun, 12 Aug 2001 08:35:01 -0600 Hi ROlf, We have been using the Intel vxWorks version. I do not know the details of how it was set up. I do know that one issue was that drivers had to deal with the fact that there is only one interrupt vector. So the drivers using interrupts had to be put on a linked list and the argument had to indicate which was to be awoken. I don't know the other details. I think that Jeff may be the one that knows them however. LINUX is another matter. If you are looking for something that must run and is time critical, I would not go down this path yet. If you are looking at something that has relaxed time responses, it may be worthwhile. Take Care, Bob
