Subject: | Explicit initializing of Sub-Record |

To tech-talk members:
Did anyone know how I could explicit decide an initializing of a sub-record? This is essential maybe during restart of a processing queue such as a PID loop or redefining of the start-conditions. The function is given and defined under the INAM field in the sub-record. I have tried to create a pointer in an other sub-record routine, which I have done only for initializing of the mentioned sub-record, in use of the field name description PV together with the function dbNameToAddr() in order to become a pointer to the dbAddr structure. Then I have mapped the pointer type with a cast operator of (struct subrecord*) in the specific address-range. Maybe someone has experience with and knows how I could handle that.
