Paul,
I looked into the code for SCA and found that the amount of
time it waits
for callbacks (which translates into pend_event) is a
formula: 10ms *
number_of_pvs_in_the_group + 20ms.
You can change this behavior by setting the property
'scagroup' to false
(0). Now it should keep waiting for callbacks for 5 seconds
before giving
up.
The other thing to note is that if you set the scagroup
property to 0, you
don't have to call refreshValues anymore. Essentially,
you've 'ungrouped' the
calls which is appropriate when you only have a few PVs as
in your case.
