Hi Paul,
We are planning on using a Modbus IP driver that runs
under linux (Redhat
9.0) for our equipment protection system. Originally, we
got the package
from John Maclean at APS. Since then we have modified the
driver slightly,
as shown below.
The Driver is capable at a minimum of; (Testing with
Schneider
Premium PLC)
1. Writing Binaries
2. Reading Binaries
3. Reading Integers
4. Writing Integers (Fixed)
There was no documentation with the package, so I've
included a sample
application.
Best of luck,

| Subject: Modbus/TCP for Linux
|
>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|
Hi,
About a year ago there was a thrash of posts about
Modbus/TCP. Triumf has a vxWorks version, CLS has an
RTEMS
version, and I think APS tweaked those for OSI & 3.14.2.
I'm looking for Modbus/TCP for Windows or Linux with 3.14.
Is anyone running this?
Thanks,
