Hi Ned,
I wrote a small tcl/tk application to browse those log files. I guess
you can easily adapt it to your local environment.
Have a look at: http://people.web.psi.ch/luedeke/tmp/iocLogBrowser.tcl
You need to specify your logfile path and a file prefix if you deal with
several log files of different types, e.g. of different networks. Both
are defined at the beginning of the file.
The program provides searching and filtering by regular expressions for:
* Message pattern
* IOC pattern
* Date Ranges
For log files <1MB it works ok; for bigger files filtering get's a bit slow.
