Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hi,
I have created the example application with
makeBaseApp.pl -t example ex
When I comment out all the *_SRCS definitions in exApp/src/Makefile, I
get
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `ex.o', needed by `ex'. Stop.
make: *** [install.hpux-parisc] Error 2
When I re-add the line
ex_SRCS_DEFAULT += exMain.cpp
so that the main executable ('ex') has at least one source, I get
make[1]: *** No rule to make target
`../../../lib/hpux-parisc//libxxxSupport.a', needed by `ex'. Stop.
make: *** [install.hpux-parisc] Error 2
This is strange, because I still have these
ex_OBJS_vxWorks += $(EPICS_BASE_BIN)/vxComLibrary
xxxSupport_LIBS += $(EPICS_BASE_IOC_LIBS)
definitions in the Makefile. So it seems I cannot just bundle objects
and libraries into a new library any more, or at least it isn't obvious
to me how.
Any comment is appreciated.
Ben
