Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hi:
I was just using netstat to check if a CA server is running,
couldn't find anything on ports 5064, 5065,
and got confused.
Then I looked again: It said "ca-1", "ca-2".
This is on Mac OS X,
and its /etc/services per default contains:
ca-1 5064/udp # Channel Access 1
ca-1 5064/tcp # Channel Access 1
ca-2 5065/udp # Channel Access 2
ca-2 5065/tcp # Channel Access 2

I remember that Jeff mentioned registering those port numbers,
so now it's taking effect ;-)
