Is anyone talking to SIemen's PLCs over Profinet from a PC104?
Or talking to Siemen's PLCs using their ethernet protocol?
Thanks,

We are talking to a Linde-supplied liquid Helium plant, which is
controlled by a Siemens S7-400 PLC. We interface to the PLC with a
Siemens TCP/IP module using the Siemens FETCH/WRITE protocol.
We made minor additions to our Modbus modtcp device/driver support, and
support both Siemens FETCH/WRITE and Modbus/TCP out of the same
device/driver support.
Presently we only read the Siemens PLC, but we are in the process of
implementing write (trivial addition) and probably will have it tested
by Christmas.
