Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hi Eric,
We're using/testing this card from GE:
http://www.ge-ip.com/products/2034
It's 24-bit, 108KHz, 8 channels, 1U VME card.
We plan to use it for ION chamber measurements on a QEXAFS beamline.
The CLS have also been using it, and have developed support for it using
a Linux PCI->VME bridge.
I have also written a VxWorks support module based on asynPortDriver.
We're currently performing an evaluation of the card, and I expect to
have some results by the end of the month.
Both the CLS software and mine make use of a VxWorks device driver
developed by GE (which we purchased with the card). It deals with all
the register read and writes, which can be quite detailed for some of
the card functions.
Cheers,
Matt
