We've had a bad experience with a particular model of ATI cards that don't seem to play well with Linux. I'm just wondering what others are using that will support console PCs with 4 and 6 monitors each of resolution 1920X1200 or better and operating as a single Linux desktop for display of EDM screens, and sundry other control system applications. We presently own a large number of monitors, which were purchased for compatibility with the ATI cards, meaning that they all have Display Port interfaces for attachment to the video cards.
