Dear All, When I am building Debian package for my softIOC in order to deploy it, the files in bin, db and dbd directories are respectively built into"/usr/lib/epics/bin", "/usr/lib/epics/db" and "/usr/lib/epics/dbd" directories of the package automatically. However, my
problem is that the configure/RELEASE file will be the "/usr/lib/epics/configure/RELEASE" file in the package as well, which conflicts with the existing one of EPICS base and causes failure when install the Debian package.
I use "dh_make" and "debuild" commands to build package and rely on debhelper, epics-debhelper (BNL) and epics-dev (BNL). The debian/rules file is very simple as follows,
export DH_VERBOSE=1 %: dh $@ --with epics -Sepicsmake
How can I prevent the RELEASE file to be generated? Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thanks, Lin Wang
