In the record reference manual, under Fields Common to All Records, please see:

DISA, DISV, etc under scan fields.

I am trying to write a program where parameters are exchanged based on operational modes of the system.
I have written a basic program where i can easily change the modes of my system and enter any mode based on user request.
How can I disable scanning of records belonging to other modes say M2 and M3 if the user has requested mode M1 in SNL itself.
