Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hello All,
Diamond light source is one of the larger EPICS installations, having deployed EPICS for machine, photon beamline and detector control. As result we have a strong interest in the ongoing and successful development of EPICS and so have been actively contributing to the core development of EPICS at number of levels; including participating in the development of EPICS Version 4. We now have a vacancy for a developer to work on aspects of core EPICS developments, including EPICS Version 4. The role is expected to work closely with the other EPICS developers in defining future direction and taking on agreed work packages. It will also be expected to represent Diamond in these developments and to contribute to developers' meetings and workshops. In undertaking this, there is full support from Diamond for travel etc.
If this is a role which is of interest and you would like to discuss further, please feel free to contact myself.
This vacancy is now listed on http://www.diamond.ac.uk/Careers/Vacancies/All/0114_16_NH.html with a closing date of 31/1/17.
Regards.
Mark Heron
