Hi Steven, ITER project has an interest in this and the contact person is Lana Abadie (in cc). Cheers, Anders From: owner-toepicscouncil at fhi-berlin.mpg.de <owner-toepicscouncil at fhi-berlin.mpg.de>
On Behalf Of Hartman, Steven Over the past months, staff from Argonne National Laboratory, Berkeley National Laboratory and Oak Ridge National Laboratory have been having occasional video conference meetings on topics related to database applications relevant to large
accelerator construction projects. The primary focus has been on the Component Database (CDB) and eTraveler applications which have been under active development
by the APS-U Project at ANL. This email is a query to the EPICS community to see if there is broader interest in participation by additional facilities or projects. We would also be interested in expanding the scope of the discussions to include other database applications
(RDB or noSQL) of relevance for controls systems at large experimental physics facilities (e.g., logbooks, archivers, data management, etc.) where there are possibilities for collaboration. Please let me know if there is interest and we can try to find a reasonable time for a ~monthly discussion. Please feel free to forward to interested colleague who may not be reading tech-talk.
