Hi,
I am not able to recommend a potentiostat, but I did notice there are some python bindings for the SP300 that claim to work if run under Wine on Linux https://pyexplabsys.readthedocs.io/drivers/bio_logic.html#module-PyExpLabSys.drivers.bio_logic that might form the basis of some EPICS control, but I've not really used Wine myself so cannot say how easy or stable it all might be
Regards,
Freddie

Subject: Potentiostat EPICS driver (EC301 / SP-300)
Hello EPICS community,
We are looking to get a new potentiostat and so far we are interested in these
two options:
- Stanford Research EC301 - https://www.thinksrs.com/products/ec301.html
- BioLogic SP-300 - https://www.biologic.net/products/sp-300/
There seems to be an EPICS driver for the BioLogic SP-300, but it is windows
only (using the manufacter DLL -
https://github.com/ISISComputingGroup/EPICS-ECLab).
Did anyone develope an ethernet/linux version of it?
Does anyone have an EPICS driver for the Stanford Research EC301?
Or is there a better, EPICS friendly, potentiostat from a difference brand that
you would recommend ?
Thank you all for the great support.
Nilson Pereira
