Hi We have an IOC to control two types of devices using stream device, a high-voltage PS from matsusada and a current pre-amplifier from SRS. The problem is that when typing exit on the IOC shell the IOC does not exit, so I tried excluding devices from the IOC and it seems the problem is with the HVPS, when excluded from the IOC it exits normally and restarts under procServ. I enabled asyn masks using asynTraceMask and asyntraceIOMask, even after the exit the IOC is doing IO with the device with no problem. I was using asyn 4.30 and stream 2.8.16 I think so I pulled the latest version of all drivers and still the same behavior.
Maybe an issue with an epicsAtExit() hook? You could try setting 'atExitDebug' prior to 'exit' to print a message as each hook function is called.
var atExitDebug 1
