Hello Liang,

Yes, StreamDevice can receive messages sent by the device automatically. The record must use SCAN „I/O Intr“ and the protocol starts with an in command instead of out.

For a more specific answer I need more details on your device. Does it use TCP or UDP? How to configure where it sends to? This is needed to use the correct type of asyn port.

    I have a feature question about stream.

    I have a device, communicated with PC throuth network card. The process was done by itself, I mean it send and recevie automaticly without EPICS.

    And could I got the receive message,using EPICS stream? 

    I puzzled that, normally stream send the out command, then get the in message. Now the device send and recive by itself, could stream( in PC) get the in message?
