Hi Mark,

Thank you. I agree that if there is anything wrong in the file 'RELEASE_PRODS.local', it causes errors like that.

But in this particular case, I realized that re2c was not installed. After I installed it, the problem was solved.

Did you follow the installation instructions here:

https://areadetector.github.io/master/install_guide.html

In particular did you edit RELEASE_PRODS.local to set the path to autosave, calc, etc., (assuming that you want to use them) as documented here:

https://areadetector.github.io/master/install_guide.html#edit-release-prods-local
