Task Switch Hook
Causes TID of “from” and “to” tasks at each context switch to be copied to non-volatile memory that is not erased at reboot
Loaded and run from a script which also captures the output of an “i” command
After system crash, the saved task switch TID may be compared with the saved task list in an attempt to identify the last task to run
This technique is crude but can often localize problems within certain periodic scan rate record sets or point to CA, home brewed code, etc.
