I remember some core dumps and they came from properties it didn't
like.  I think I got one from from a space (or some other strange
character) in a property name.

If you can't find the problem (and even if you can) you might like to
contact Phase 3 for help - they presumably don't like their software
core dumping on users. They have also done some work on sch2edif since
1992 - mine is Release 2.2.74 for Solaris compiled on 20 Feb 1996...
