This is a suggestion about documentation maintained at other sites. For each such entry APS would have a definition as follows: XXX is maintained at YYY YYY is a link to some YYY master documentation page NOT to the document itself. This way each site only has to have one link that should stay permanent. In addition XXX should be rather generic. For example consider cdev. APS would not have a list of all cdev documents but just one entry. A few examples are: cdev is maintained by CEBAF CAMAC support is maintained by CEBAF edd/dm is maintained by LANL Channel Access is maintained by LANL Clicking on either CEBAF entry leads to the same CEBAF WWW Page. Clicking on either LANL entry leads to the same LANL WWW page. This is not quite as convienent for users buth is sure a lot easier to maintain. Marty Kraimer
