I just downloaded the latest APS version of medm for WIN32 (2.3.4beta1) from
Ken Evans and this bug is fixed, as well as a number of others.  I have found
some additional problems which I am communicating privately to Ken.

I would suggest that people communicate directly with Ken about problems with
medm, since he may have already fixed the problems you find, or at least have
them on his list of things to fix.
