Seeking a VME Bus analyzer

Hi All:

We are considering the purchase of a VME Bus Analyzer and are seeking comments from the EPICS/VxWorks community regarding our two finalists. The contenders are Vmetro's VBT325C and Silicon Control's VME-310. We have had an opportunity to evaluate each in terms of ease of use (both have nice GUIs). Our considerations
(besides cost and reliability, of course) are as follows:

1. Users will include Instrumentation Engineers (both hardware & software) as well as technicians.
2. Generally, we don't build our own boards.
3. We do debug boards that we have made minor modifications to.
4. We do test suspected 'bad boards' to the extent that we are able, to determine whether the board can be fixed in-house or not.
5. Evaluating an I/O board sans processor, is definitely desirable.
6. Automated testing (e.g. during burn-in) is highly desirable.
