There is no such limit in database size. Even if there was, it would be
inside EPICS base, not inside the vxworks patches.

What kind of errors?
What kind of MVME162?
Which version of vxWorks?
Which version of the BSP?
Which version of EPICS base?
You may be running into memory limits because the standard BSP for the
mv162 does not auto-detect the board's memory size and the factory
default is 1MB, iirc. The APS vxWorks patches include a fix for this
problem.
