Subject: | gdct313 can't open display |

I have just upgraded my Solaris machine to solaris 8.When I run gdct313 from a remote xterminal I get the message
can't open DISPLAY
if I specify the node name in the DISPLAY variable (instead of the
default number) I get
res_init: socket: Invalid argument
can't open DISPLAY
instead.
On the host machine's terminal this runs fine. On the remote terminal I
can run xterm and other xapps (medm, probe, etc) so security should not be the problem.
Has anyone else seen this?
Thanks,
