Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Hello.
I seem to have a two-fold problem:
Fold 1:
I'm using a sequence record to process 10 (sequential) calls to GPIB hardware.
Just 10 Analog Input records.
Because the call to hardware LNK1 takes time (t >0) to complete, LNK2 will
start *before* LNK1 is complete. Since this is unacceptable in my design,
I have to induce a delay between LNK's in the sequence record. For example, I
have a 3 second delay between each call to an analog Input. The sequence record
will finish all 10 LNK's in 30 seconds.
You might ask, "Why is he using a sequence record when he could just FLNK the
harware calls in a serial fashion and do away with the sequence record, and
ultimately the need for a delay?".
Fold 2:
I want the functionality to turn on or off LNK's. I believe this could
be implemented with the SELM = MASK field in the sequence record.
Any hints on how to implement this?
Much obliged.
