Hi Rolf,
I plan to run EPICS under vxWorks on x86, on a CompactPCI
platform. I have all the components, but its a low priority
job, and I don't expect results until October.
Initially I was attracted to trying Linux-RT as well, but my
boss thought it would be a hack, and require to much
'mothering' (compared to the much more mature vxWorks). I
still hope to at least look into it in the longer-term
future, however.
