Hi Andy,

At the Sloan Digital Sky Survey we are in the process of
migrating from edd/dm to edm. Given the present lack of
a conversion tool the path we are taking is a complete
rewrite of the operator screens - using this as an 
opportunity to gather a new set of requirements from the
observers.

However - we are only running a two IOC system so this isn't
that bad. I suspect larger sites would need a conversion tool.

And - astute readers would note my dual SDSS/SNS affilation...
