Dear All,
Before I make a start, I just wanted to check that no one else has already done this.
Has anyone written device (and/or driver) support for:
Xycom 9660 (IP carrier board) Xip 2440 32 Digital-Inputs (Industry Pack) Xip 2445 32 Digital-Outputs (Industry Pack) Xip 5320 12-bit A/D Analogue Input (Industry Pack)
Looking at the WWW EPICS hardware page, I would assume the answer is "no".
A suggestion (if you're going to implement this) to make your code more portable:
- carrier driver: avoid vxWorks specific calls (intConnect sysBusToLocal) and use 'devLib.h' instead.
- IP module drivers: avoid vxWorks specific calls. Use the drvIpac API and the EPICS (only >= 3.14) OSI APIs (for threads, mutexes etc.)
