here at DESY we are using the standard vxStats device support. (R3.13.x) In additional we have implemented few queries to get information about: - IOC's physical name (DNS registered) - heartbeat - time on IOC - boot time - home or boot path - what used for - contact person and phone - CPU application - board type - Epics release - vxWorks release - max memory block free

Here at SNS, we've added a few things to the LBL version - in particular, a heartbeat, boot times, boot parameters, EPICS & kernel version numbers.
