Subject: calcPerform

Hi folks,

some time ago, Timo Korhonen has patched the calcPerform function to return -1 (=error) if the result of the calculation is nan. This has been done to raise an INVALID_ALARM and not to process the OUT link if IVOA="Don't drive outputs". (That required a patch of the calcout record, too. But that's an other story.)

My question is: should calcPerform return -1 as well if the result is inf (or -inf) ?

Awaiting your comments,
Dirk
