I even found the details of Marty's answer. But admittedly I didn't find out more about the problem nor did it stay on my mind for much longer... Ralph ----- 8< ------------------------------- Since msi writes all output to stdout what can it do if it fails? Note that when it detects errors it writes messages to stderr and calls usageExit which returns a value of 1. This the script that calls it could remove any redirected file is msi returns 1. Have you found out any more about this problem?
