Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
For the records:
Here's a short summary of the answers I got regarding VME trigger delay
boards.
o Timo Korhonen <[email protected]> mentioned an IP-module by Hytec
with similar specs.
o Steven Hartman <[email protected]> said they didn't find anything
when searching 9 months ago and are planning to use the Highland
boards (eventually add a free standing GPIB trigger delay generator).
o Richard Farnsworth <[email protected]> pointed me to
their choice, the GPIB standalone Stanford research DG535.
o Andrew Kreps <[email protected]> has designed a VME board that almost
meets the specs I was posting. It looks very interesting as most of
the real stuff is in a FGPA, so features might be twisted to match.
Meanwhile we also considering having a student design a board (thesis
work) to our needs, maybe inspired by the ANL design.
I will probably send another note on tech talk when we come up with a
working result for all this.
Again: Thanks a lot for your interest and cooperation!
