Years
ago I tried but found trying to get it to compile too time consuming for
what it was worth. For use with cppBuilder, I think it is much easier to compile
the EPICS base with MSVC (went through without a complaint) then import the
resulting dll's as libraries (using impdef and implib) for use with builder,
that is what I do and have not had any big problems. You could just use import
the dll's ( I think the binaries come with the distro) which would save you the
hassle. Hope it helps,
-Russ
