Subject: Micos Motor Support query.

We have just received a rotation table from Micos GmbH for a trial period. It has an RS-232-C interface talking what they call "Venus-2 protocol".

Simple command/response communication via Dirk Zimok's stream driver works fine and we can get it to move and report its position. Has anyone in the EPICS community perhaps tackled a more thorough integration, in particular, into the APS motor record package?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

David
