Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
We are using the Hytec 8516 octal serial IP card.
It can be configured for either RS422 or RS485.
It uses the same driver as the 8515 RS232 card.
I have tested the cards with very high baud rates,
but mostly we stick to 9600.
We have avoided using multidrop configurations.
Pete.
