Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
To whom it may concern...
... we hope that this position will be attractive for some core
developers in the EPICS community. It is one of those rare cases where
we have a job opening for a permanent position. In Germany this means
you will have this job:
while (true) {
if (DESY runs bankrupt) {
exit();
} elseif (you steel a silver spoon) {
exit();
} else {
stayEmployed();
}
}
The attached job description is pointing out the key functions of this
position.
If you can understand the job description, and if you are interested -
we would be happy if you would apply and join out team of 15( 10
software-, 5 hardware-oriented members) at DESY.
We are facing interesting times at DESY. The XFEL is 'at our door' and
we are already now starting new EPICS developments for this new machine.
This position - for our EPICS core developer - will of course be one of
the key positions for these new developments.
Regards
Matthias
