Hello All,
After quite a long delay, we finally have a new release of irmisBase 
with many new features now in use here at APS.

It is available as usual at http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/irmis . See the 
README link (file also in root of tarball).

What's New:

Several new crawlers: ADL (MEDM), ALH, IOC Save/Restore, SNL, SDDS

There are now sql scripts for creating, altering, dropping, and 
pre-populating the database. These have been tested on a "from scratch" 
installation for both MySQL 4.x and Oracle 10. Most functionality of the 
applications has also been tested (informally) against MySQL and Oracle. 
The database pre-population scripts provide enough base component types 
to get started adding Buildings, Rooms, Racks, Chassis, Switch Gear, AC 
Panel, etc. As usual, the process of adapting the pv crawler to your 
site is typically a bit more work.
