Dear Ned,
I'm writing to remind you of two possible projects that we have discussed during my visit to the APS. I would appreciate if you can reply me back to me with respect to what you think now.
2. We propose to add the support for the Channel Access protocol to the open source Ethereal program. First estimates that this work could cost between 10-15k$. We could do it faster if we would use our Java-based program instead of Ethereal, but there are license problems with that (we did it for a Telecom company) and would cost more in the end. Do you think it would be attractive to you / rest of the community.
