Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System
Well, finally found some time to start working on a netBSD port, and have a little 'mystery' that shows just how dense I am at some things.
I've got the CONFIG files written, and I think I have to OSI stuff correct, but when I go to do a build, the system will compile the libCom list of files, and then fail when it gets to the point where its trying to build the libCom.so.3.14 file itself. I have the libCom.a file correctly created, but I assume I am not sending the proper commands to g++ for generating the libCom.so.3.14 file. Sorry, but you use the G++ compiler to create a .so file? Anyone know of an article or something covering how to do that? or just a suggestion of the right options to pass?
