Subject: CMLOG on recent Linux?

Hello out there -

Did anyone get CMLOG running on a recent Linux system? I'm trying on SL 4.0 (2.6 kernel), but even though I have fixed a couple of things to get it compiled, the server doesn't really look good when started (doesn't go into the background leaving the init.d script hanging around forever), and the cmlog client crashes with a segmentation fault as soon as I try to connect it to the server. The server situation looks a bit different depending on the compile mode (pthreads or not), the client crashes anyway.

Any similar experiences? Success stories?

Clueless,
Ralph
