The fact that xmlrpc-c-config gives an incomplete "-I$(prefix)/include" looks wrong enough to me to not even try to make the Gentoo setup to work, and instead just use the xmlrpc-c-0.9.9.tar.gz that comes with the archiver sources.
OK, missed something in the manual, I guess. Under Gentoo, I have installed: dev-java/xmlrpc = version 1.2_beta-r1 dev-libs/xmlrpc-c = version 1.06.03
In /usr/include, I have: find . -name 'xmlrpc*' ./xmlrpc_server.h ./xmlrpc_server_abyss.h ./xmlrpc_cgi.h ./xmlrpc_client.h ./xmlrpc_server_w32httpsys.h ./xmlrpc-c ./xmlrpc.h
I have xmlrpc_server_abyss.h, but not a xmlrpc_abyss.h. I do have xmlrpc-c-config in my path, but when I do the 'XMLRPCServer/xmlrpc-config-wrapper server-flags' command, I get '-I$(prefix)/include' as a result. Did I miss installing something?
