Hi:

Are you using the xmlrpc, xerces, w3c-libwww, ... libraries that come  
in the
ThirdParty subdir of the archiver sources, or versions that happened
to come with your linux distro?
I can't find any reference to the curl library inside the archiver  
sources themselves
nor those ThirdParty sources, so my first guess would be that you
end up using some other version of those libraries,
one that happens to depend on libcurl, and thus you'll have to add the
-Lpath and the -lcurl to the linker options.
